Koo Park (he/him) was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. He began his acting career as a member of Theatre Troupe Georipae, a company deeply rooted in Korean traditional performing arts. He was part of the original cast of The Fable of Baek Seok, the winner of Korean National Theatre Awards for Best Play in 2015. He starred in many other productions with the company including The Cherry Orchard and Ogu: The Ritual of Death that toured nationally. Koo moved to Seattle in 2019 to pursue his MFA in Acting at the University of Washington. Since graduating in 2022, Koo has performed in Macbeth (Seattle Shakespeare Company) and A Woman of No Importance (Taproot Theatre Company).
