ONLINE: Tour Around Town: Music Scene Fundraiser

When recording artist Bovian began his career in music he found himself in quite a predicament – a city under lockdown with nowhere to perform. He took to rooftops and public spaces and started gaining a local following and reputation for thinking outside the box. Now, in participation with several local venues, he’s taking the show indoors and raising much needed donations for venues and small business owners whose livelihood have been threatened by the pandemic.

The Seattle “Tour Around Town” took place at several iconic music venues including Paramount Theatre, Lo-Fi, Café Nodro and Rendezvous. Performances were filmed and recorded by headliner Bovian along with disco-pop duo Bijoux and solo performer Yawa.

The goal of the project was to get members of the local performing arts community back to work and raise much needed operating capital to help venues stay afloat.

All ticket sales for the streaming show will be donated to the participating venues based on need.
