Summer Jazz Lab

Open to jazz instrumentalists going into grades 9 through 12. Students must have technical command of their instrument, as well as elementary improvisation experience or a basic knowledge of music theory (i.e. familiarity with major scales and 12-bar blues form).

In addition to learning practical skills, students who have completed the class will be eligible to represent JazzED by playing paid gigs out in the community!

We are committed to this program being financially accessible for ALL families. You select the tuition amount that works for you. Your tuition payment helps cover the cost of renting class space and paying our educators a fair wage, as well as classroom supplies, sheet music, etc.
