Join TeenTix and Seattle Shakespeare Company for a night of epic history, political intrigue, and cookies!

One of Shakespeare's earliest successes, Richard III, hits the Seattle Shakes stage this September. Be there for the pre-show reception + discussion with the director, the production, and a post-show discussion with the all-female cast!

Tickets can be reserved/purchased in advance by visiting or calling the Seattle Shakes Box Office at 206-733-8222, OR online at (please note that this option charges a service fee).

Jealousy, manipulation, deceit... oh, yeah! Don’t underestimate the last son of the mighty royal York family. Richard is as charming as he is cunning. Through scheming and seducing (and a few murders along the way), Richard secures the crown for himself…but can he hold it? Attempting to thwart his ill-gotten rise to power are some potent women who envision hope for their country in a new generation of leaders.

What began with a highly-praised all-female production of Bring Down the House (Henry VI trilogy) now culminates with the artists of upstart crow collective returning to complete this enthralling and bloody story of the Wars of the Roses.

6:30 PM: Reception featuring free cookies + beverages, PLUS a talk with the director, Rosa Joshi
7:30 PM: Curtain for Richard III
9:30 PM: Post-show discussion with the cast

PLEASE NOTE: This performance takes place in the Leo K. Theatre at Seattle Rep.
