In this satirical retelling of Shakespeare’s Richard III set in 2010, one of the most famous disabled characters in literary history is reimagined as a 16-year-old outsider with all the teenage angst of high school.

Bullied for his cerebral palsy, Richard plots his revenge as well as a glorious and ambitious plan to win senior class president. As he falls deeper into political turmoil, Richard is faced with an unexpected choice. Is it better to be loved or feared? Find out in this witty and lively production.

As of August 2021, Seattle Rep is requiring masks and proof of vaccinations or negative COVID-19 testing to ensure a safe and successful return of the Seattle-area arts. All employees, including staff & artists, will be required to follow the same protocols. Policies will evolve over time in response to the pandemic.

Regular Box Office Hours: Monday - Sunday from noon until curtain. If there is no evening performance, the Box Office closes at 6pm.

Summer Hours: Monday - Thursday 12pm to 6pm.

2 for $10 Sundays: A TeenTix member may purchase a $5 ticket for themselves and for another person of any age ($10 total) for Sunday shows at this venue. Seattle Rep honors companion tickets on Sunday evening performances only. For Sundays with only matinee shows, companion tickets will be available beginning one half hour before showtime (1:30pm). Always call ahead to plan for companion tickets.
