Strange Fruit - April 25-28. Based on a poem and song by Billie Holiday which uses an extended metaphor linking a tree's fruit with lynching victims, Strange Fruit tracks Donald Byrd's feelings as a response to lynching and plays out as a series of dance/theater vignettes.
