The TeenTix Press Corps is presenting a Film Criticism Workshop in collaboration with SIFF! This workshop is a two-weekend experience, with meetings on January 17, 18, and 25, 2020. You'll learn the basics of film criticism, attend a screening, try your hand at writing reviews, and receive mentorship from Press Corps teaching artist and film critic, Kathy Fennessy.

Teaching Artist

This workshop will be taught by Press Corps teaching artist Kathy Fennessy.

Kathy Fennessy is a Seattle music and film writer. Her byline has appeared in City Pages, Seattle Film Blog, The Stranger, Video Librarian, and The Village Voice. She works in development at KCTS 9, serves on the board of Seattle Film Critics Society, and belongs to actors' union SAG-AFTRA.
