The TeenTix Press Corps is hosting a Theater Criticism Workshop! Sign up for this two-day workshop where you will learn the basics of theater criticism, attend a play, and try your hand at writing a review! This workshop runs February 29 and March 1, 2020.

This workshop is FREE and includes tickets to see the Seattle Children's Theatre's performance of Snow White.

Teens must commit to attending both days in order to participate.
This workshop is limited to 8 teens.


Saturday, February 29

3:30 PM - Pre-show lesson at Seattle Children's Theatre

4:30 PM - Attend Snow White at Seattle Children's theatre

Sunday, March 1

12-2 PM - Discussion and lesson at TeenTix Office in the Seattle Center Armory

Snacks will be provided at all meetings.

Teaching Artist

Danielle Mohlman is a Seattle-based playwright and arts journalist. She’s a frequent contributor to Encore Stages, where she’s written long-form features about everything from the intersection of sports and theatre to the landscape of sensory-friendly performances. Her writing has also appeared in American Theatre, The Dramatist, My Poetic Side, and Quirk Books, where she just celebrated her seventh year as a pop culture blogger. Last year, she taught her first TeenTix Press Corps Intensive, focusing on features and previews. Danielle loves baseball more than anything and dreams of writing about the sport professionally — maybe one day. Her favorite team is the Washington Nationals.
