The TeenTix Press Corps is presenting a Theater Criticism Workshop at UW Drama! This workshop is a two-day experience with meetings on March 7 and 8, 2020. You'll learn the basics of theater criticism, attend a performance of The Women of Lockerbie, and try your hand at writing reviews.

Teens must commit to attending all three days in order to participate.
This workshop is limited to 8 teens.


Saturday, March 7:

6:30 PM - Pre-show lesson UW campus

7:30 PM - Attend The Women of Lockerbie at UW Drama

Sunday, March 8:

12-2 PM - Discussion/lesson at TeenTix Office in the Seattle Center Armory

Snacks will be provided at all meetings.

Teaching Artist

Danielle Mohlman is a Seattle-based playwright and arts journalist. She’s a frequent contributor to Encore Stages, where she’s written long-form features about everything from the intersection of sports and theatre to the landscape of sensory-friendly performances. Her writing has also appeared in American Theatre, The Dramatist, My Poetic Side, and Quirk Books, where she just celebrated her seventh year as a pop culture blogger. Last year, she taught her first TeenTix Press Corps Intensive, focusing on features and previews. Danielle loves baseball more than anything and dreams of writing about the sport professionally — maybe one day. Her favorite team is the Washington Nationals.
