L’Amour à la Folie celebrates the joyful 45-year marriage and career of the most famous global ambassadors for Malian and African music: Amadou & Mariam. In this heartfelt tribute to the musical journey they shared, Mariam honors her late husband Amadou Bagayoko who sadly passed away in April 2025. The concert features Mariam’s soulful vocals backed by her long-time band members, with new music from the duo’s upcoming album L’Amour à la Folie. As superstars of the global music stage, Amadou & Mariam blended the dynamic rhythms of Malian blues with rock, hip-hop and disco influences, creating an irresistible Afro-pop sound. After nearly five decades of music-making, Amadou’s remarkable talent and contribution to the world of music will always be remembered through the melodies that made the couple a worldwide sensation.
