Participation in the New Guard includes all types of arts leadership skill-building including fundraising, planning teen-centric art events, discussing arts equity and social justice, and building a community of arts-stoked teens through regular group arts outings. Since its launch, The New Guard has nurtured young leaders who have gone on to contribute to their communities as artists, journalists, activists, arts administrators, politicians, scientists, lawyers, and entrepreneurs. Apply for the 2019/2020 cohort by June 3, 2019.
