An Evening with Aaron & Elmer Dixon
April 1, 2027
In April 1968, brothers Aaron and Elmer Dixon helped launch the first Black Panther Party chapter authorized outside California — igniting a movement that fed children, defended a community, and built lasting institutions of care across the Pacific Northwest.
Join us at the Seattle Black Panther Party Interpretive Center for an evening in conversation with the co-founders themselves. Aaron and Elmer will share stories from the front lines of the movement, answer your questions, and sign copies of their memoirs — available for purchase at the event.
This gathering coincides with the Pioneer Square Art Walk. Come early, explore the exhibits, enjoy the DJ and non-alcoholic beverages, and pick up your book before you take your seat.
