The Seattle Chamber Orchestra launches its fourth season with a vibrant tribute to two groundbreaking artists—Italian composer Luciano Berio and American mezzo-soprano Cathy Berberian—on the centenary of their births.
This special concert honors their bold artistic partnership and enduring influence on contemporary music through a program that blends innovation, theatricality, and expressive depth. Program includes works by Luciano Berio, including the famous Folk Songs (1964) as well as works by John Cage, Luigi Dallapiccola, Giorgio Federico Ghedini and Claudio Monteverdi.
