Discover what goes into making Telly Award and Northwest Regional Emmy award-winning animated commercials with animation director and story artist Lucas Marchi on his Cascade PBS Viewers like me commercials. Learn how 2D animation works, and how professionals approach designing and creating short films, including all the different roles and jobs artists must take on. See how story artists take scripts and ideas and develop them into heartfelt cinematic stories, how visual development artists design every color and brushstroke, and how 2D animators painstakingly hand draw every single frame from simple effects to complex dance sequences.
