Join Powerful Voices on Saturday, August 9 & Sunday, August 10 for Girlvolution at Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute. Girlvolution is a celebration of community, culture, and care curated by the Youth Engagement Board, a dynamic group of BIPOC girls & gender expansive youth leaders on a mission to create space for young people to nurture their roots, freely express themselves, and build a community of powerful youth leaders.
Day 1
(Sat 11a – 6:30p) spotlights Multicultural Youth Unity with performances, workshops, panels, and more.
Day 2
(Sun 1p – 5p) centers Self & Community Care with an Opportunity Fair featuring youth activists, artists, vendors, healing activities, and community resources. Join us for a weekend of fun, connection, and inspiration as we work together to transform our communities – and the world!
