Artists find new ways to express themselves by shifting medium and subject matter as their works evolve and transition with life. Artist Troy Gua is known for his "hybrid" series as well as for works that incorporate surreal, abstract landscapes known as "portals," and collaged images that deconstruct the human form. As an artist, Gua has morphed, changed course, and continued to reinvent his own classics throughout his career.
