Seattle marks the final leg of the national Freedom Plane document tour, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. In conjunction with this landmark exhibit, join us for an exploration of the ideals of the founding documents as they relate to Seattle’s past, present, and future. In conversation will be Mayor Katie Wilson, South Seattle Emerald Founder Marcus Harrison Green, UW Professor Megan Ming Francis, and MOHAI Director Leonard Garfield, moderated by Vivian Phillips.

Doors to the museum will open at 6pm. The Freedom Plane National Tour: Documents That Forged a Nation exhibit will be open from 6pm-6:45pm, with the panel beginning promptly at 7pm.

ASL Interpretation and CART captioning are available during the program. In addition, a limited number of Assistive Listening Devices are available upon request. For more accessibility support, email [email protected] before the program.
