1–3 pm | BRKFST dance performance
for now, but not for long investigates the restoration and habitat complexity of the once contaminated, post-industrial landscape of Olympic Sculpture Park. This work explores reinvention and highlights diverse landscapes through moving bodies as sculptural entities. Regeneration, decay, attraction, and repulsion will emerge through sustained duration, partnering, and non-codified movement, guiding audiences through the meadows and groves of the Pacific Northwest. Subtle sounds of the natural environment in combination with a set score will emphasize the ever-changing ecosystem using the human body as a visual guide.

Catch BRKFST in the week leading up to the premiere of their new work during open rehearsals at the Olympic Sculpture Park, July 12, 14, 17, 1–4 pm, and July 18, 10 am–4 pm.

Presented by Velocity Dance and Seattle Art Museum. @velocity_seattle
