Community Engagement Committee

TeenTix’s Community Engagement Committee is a new group made up of Board members, Volunteers, Parents, and Alumni who are passionate about strengthening relationships within our giving community. The committee focuses on building stewardship that goes beyond making a donation, and we will focus on long-term connections with TeenTix parents, alumni, and supporters.

YOUR ROLE

As a volunteer member of the Community Engagement Committee, you’ll help cultivate meaningful, lasting relationships for TeenTix. This includes making thank-you calls and writing notes to donors, brainstorming and hosting alumni activities, and serving as a sounding board for impact-driven stewardship pieces. Your role will be key in ensuring that our supporters feel valued, connected, and inspired to stay involved with TeenTix over time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a volunteer position. The Community Engagement Committee will mostly meet virtually to make it easy for parents and alumni to participate from anywhere. Below are some of the ways you might get involved. Your level of involvement can be as little or as much as your schedule allows:

• Lead stewardship efforts by making thank-you calls and sending personalized notes.
• Partner with staff to design and host alumni-focused gatherings and activities.
• Collaborate on creating engaging, impact-focused stewardship pieces for supporters.
• Share insights as parents or alumni to help strengthen TeenTix’s long-term community engagement strategies.
• Attend and participate in regular committee meetings virtually.

QUALIFICATIONS

The most important qualification is a desire to help others feel appreciated and connected to the TeenTix mission. If you care about community and enjoy fostering meaningful relationships, you’ll be a great fit for this committee.

Some things that could be especially helpful:

• Experience with stewardship or community-building activities.
• Enthusiasm for connecting with parents, alumni, and supporters.
• Interest in creative ways to celebrate and engage TeenTix’s community.
