Mirrorball Committee

TeenTix’s Mirrorball Committee is made up of Board members and volunteers who come together each year to create the magic behind our annual spring fundraising gala, Mirrorball. The committee helps bring the event to life by securing auction and dessert dash donations, developing an enthusiastic audience of guests and table captains, building sponsorships, and sparking generosity through peer-to-peer and regrets giving.

YOUR ROLE

As a volunteer member of the Mirrorball Committee, you will help shape TeenTix’s most important fundraising event. Your work will focus on securing in-kind donations, spreading the word to bring in guests and table captains, and strategizing with staff on how to inspire giving before, during, and after the event. You’ll also play a part in cultivating sponsorships and creating opportunities for supporters to connect with our mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a volunteer position. We’re excited to grow our Mirrorball Committee this year and welcome new members to the team! Below are some of the ways you might contribute:

• Partner with TeenTix staff and Board to secure in-kind donations for the auction and dessert dash.
• Support audience development by recruiting table captains and encouraging guest attendance.
• Help brainstorm and guide event marketing strategies that highlight the impact of giving.
• Co-lead efforts in building sponsorships, peer-to-peer giving, and regrets giving.
• Connect with our giving community to inspire and thank them for their support.
• Attend and participate in monthly committee meetings leading up to Mirrorball.
• Host or captain a table.

QUALIFICATIONS

The most important qualification is your enthusiasm for TeenTix and your interest in helping make Mirrorball a success! If you love bringing people together, connecting businesses or individuals to a cause, or just enjoy the buzz of a big event, we’d love to have you.

Some things that could be especially helpful:

• Experience or enthusiasm in securing auction or sponsorship donations.
• Interest in building community through events and fundraising.
• Excitement for spreading the word and encouraging people to attend.
