Three Dollar Bill Cinema shows films & videos by, for, and about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people and their friends & families. These film events happen at locations around the city, providing forums for LGBT filmmakers to share and discuss their work with audiences.
Three Dollar Bill Cinema produces the Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival (October), Translations: the Seattle Transgender Film Festival (May), Three Dollar Bill Outdoor Cinema at Cal Anderson Park (Summer) and other film screenings throughout the year. Reel Queer Youth, their week-long summer workshop, teaches filmmaking and media literacy to LGBTQ identified youth and their allies, ages 13-20. See their website for event details and locations.
