BIMA hosts its 10th season of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with a community celebration, activities and an expanded exhibition of artworks.

The community celebration on Saturday, October 28, features shared stories and offerings for loved ones who have passed away at the community ofrenda, along with music, food and artmaking.

The exhibition includes works by the late Alfredo Arreguín (Seattle), Araceli Cruz (Bainbridge Island), Spanky Loco (Poulsbo), Jake Prendez (Seattle), and Angelina Villalobos (Seattle), plus a collection of alebrijes—brightly colored Mexican folk art sculptures of mythical creatures.
