On the Boards (OtB) commissions, produces, and presents contemporary performance art. What is “contemporary performance art”? Generally, this means that performances at OtB often incorporate a combination of dance, theatre, visual art, and music. The work you’ll see is often emotional, thought-provoking, multi-sensory, and may leave you with more questions than answers! It's also out-of-the-box, inventive, and likely an unforgettable art-going experience.

Since OtB shows are experimental and engage with pressing social issues, sometimes challenging viewers' sense of comfort and familiarity, they often spark post-show conversations. Together, we will create a space and format to to process, understand, and appreciate the work -- sometimes with TeenTix peers, sometimes with the artists themselves.

OtB provides a post-show processing discussion for teens and audiences Saturday nights after the show - meet in the lobby after the show and a facilitator will greet you to guide the conversation!
