The Burke Museum creates a better understanding of the world and our place in it. The museum is responsible for Washington State collections of natural and cultural heritage and sharing the knowledge that makes them meaningful. The Burke welcomes a broad and diverse audience and provides a community gathering place that nurtures life-long learning and encourages respect, responsibility and reflection.

Open Tues-Sun, 10am - 5pm

The Burke Museum offers FREE admission on the first Thursday of each month.

2 for $10 Thursdays: A TeenTix member may purchase a $5 ticket for themselves and for another person of any age ($10 total) on Thursdays at this venue. Always call ahead to plan for companion tickets.

Box Office Info

As of August 2021: Even as restrictions are lifted across Seattle, all staff and visitors (except children under the age of 5) are required to wear a mask in all public spaces and galleries for the entirety of their visit, regardless of vaccination status or if they are the only person/pod in a gallery. Children ages 3–4 are encouraged to wear masks, although not required.
