I have a GREAT idea! Coem out to a Special Teen Tix event at SIFF Cinema.

In celebration of the Shakespeare on Film: Such Stuff As Dreams Are Made On series at SIFF Cinema (October 10–15, 2008), we challenged media and drama students (aged 13–18) to create short dramatic films interpreting scenes from Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

A selection of the best student-produced films will be screened at SIFF Cinema TONIGHT before the October 14, 7:00pm screening of Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes.

Come out and see the winning films by fellow teens, and then stay for the action-packed, colorful version of R&J by one of my fav directors, Baz Lurhmann.
