Henry Teen Collective @ Henry Art Gallery
February 25 through May 12
Thursdays, 3:30–5:00 PM
What makes a museum like the Henry tick? What role can you play in bringing contemporary ideas to life? The Henry Teen Collective is a team of curious and enthusiastic youth dedicated to understanding and making the contemporary museum relevant to their peers. The Collective goes behind the scenes at the Henry and spends time learning about the museum, meeting artists, previewing exhibitions, exploring the collection, and facilitating dialogues around works of art. Based on these experiences, the group then helps shape an activity, game, or project of their choice for the annual Arty Party on April 24. As this is the first year of the Henry Teen Collective, the group will also play a large role in shaping the future of the program (including picking its permanent name!). Become an event superstar & a contemporary art buff all in one! Join the Collective by applying before February 9th. You can get more information on the Henry Teen Collective on their website!
