TeenTix has been hard at work revitalizing the Press Corps program, and we've got some SUPER EXCITING NEWS: we're now announcing the launch of the TeenTix Press Corps' Teen Editorial Staff program!
The Teen Editorial Staff is a group of 5 teens who will run the review portion of the TeenTix blog. These Staff members will edit and curate the content of the blog and decide which art events are covered. This is your chance to shape the TeenTix blog and make it relevant for teens like you! What's the most exciting part of this new addition? Editorial Staff will have the opportunity to receive a stipend of up to $50/month based on their full communication and participation within the program.
SCHEDULE (please read carefully!)
This program is a four-month commitment* (September-December) with meetings held the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month, from 5-7 PM.
Editorial Staff members must also attend an Editorial Intensive.
The Intensive runs:
Thursday, August 30, 10 AM - 2 PM
Friday, August 31, 10 AM - 2 PM
Saturday, September 8, 10 AM - 2 PM
The Editorial Intensive will be taught by Press Corps Manager, Mariko Nagashima, and Crosscut.com’s Managing Editor, Florangela Davila.
*You must be able to commit to all meetings and intensive days in order to apply.
